RESTORE FAITH IN THE COUNCIL'S POLICY-MAKING PROCESSES

Restore some common sense and good management of the affairs of the Village. Too much time AND taxpayer money have been spent on needless censure efforts and poor implementation of the short-term rental issue. An inordinate amount of time was spent on these issues with no good resolution.

WE MUST RESPECT PINEHURST'S HISTORY BY ELEVATING THE ASSETS WE HAVE

Pinehurst is a gem in the pines. It is a destination visited by people from around the world and many decide to call it home. We must make sure we are protecting and providing the resources necessary to keep our historic sites preserved. Besides golf, locations like the Pinehurst Harness Track and West Pinehurst Park are assets for our community to enjoy and celebrate.

We are an international golf destination. We need to make decisions understanding and respecting the brand and its place in golf tourism.


REPRESENT

REPRESENT ALL OF PINEHURST

I will represent all of our Pinehurst neighborhoods and business community. Ensuring we are making fact-based, legal decisions on what is necessary to manage the changing needs of residents and businesses. We need to ensure our police, fire, and public service departments are staffed appropriately with competitive compensation along with equipment to do their jobs effectively. These public services support and enhance our wonderful quality of life.

Additionally, we must value and maintain constructive, collaborative communication with our surrounding municipalities, local and state officials. Pinehurst does not exist in a vacuum. I will do my part as your council member to participate in supporting those goals.
